At Element Houtbouwers, we believe in a clear, transparent building process. No surprises — just clear steps and good communication. So you always know where you stand, from the first idea to completion (and beyond).
01. Introduction & wishes
We start with a personal conversation. What would you like to achieve? What suits your home, your lifestyle and your future plans? In this conversation we listen carefully, ask the right questions and clearly map out your wishes. Together we explore whether your idea fits within our vision of sustainable, biobased and responsible building.
02. Design & quotation
Based on your wishes (and any existing drawings), we help shape the design and technical development. We make sure the design, building style and material choices align logically with your wishes and with the location. You'll receive a transparent quotation from us, with clear provisional sums and explanations — so you know exactly where you stand.
03. Preparation
Once we start, we make sure everything is well prepared: planning, material orders, agreements with the architect, structural engineer and subcontractors, and any permits. We also communicate clearly when we'll start, how long the work will take, and how we'll minimise disruption as much as possible — all so that building can proceed smoothly and without friction.
04. Getting to work
Time to build! Our team is known for craftsmanship, solution-focused thinking and attention to detail. During construction we stay in touch about progress, with room for questions or minor adjustments. We work neatly, efficiently and with care for the surroundings and residents.
05. Completion & aftercare
After the final finishing touches, we walk through the project together. Any remaining points? We resolve these quickly and carefully. We also provide maintenance tips and explain the materials and installations used. We remain available even after completion.
